Today we made some water tests in studio. I saw on the internet some very cool examples of water art and i decided to give a try. We used Tempera colors mixed with water and milk. Probably we will test other materials soon to understand how they react mixed with water.
The lighting was made using two Canon 580Ex compact flashes on both sides of the small aquarium we used for the tests.
The camera was a Canon 5D Mark III with a 35mm f/2 lens. We shot at 1/200 with f22. Flash were in manual 1/16 of the power.
Today I gave a lesson at the European Institute of Design in Rome. The lesson topic was my series Clownville. I helped the students to develop an image with the same look and field. They did a great job The makeup was always by Valeria Orlando. The astonishing model was my friend and techGuru Massimo Curatella. The images are a collection of Instagram I took during the lesson.
On the top right Valeria Orlando with Massimo and on the center left here I’m with my guest.
