I just spent two days in Germany at the Internation Photograhic Qualifications organized by the German photographers organization named BPP ( bund professioneller portraitfotografen ).
As the BPP websites says: “Based on the evaluation criteria of leading international photographers organizations (such as BIPP, DIPP or FEP), each bpp member can enhance the quality of his photography by presenting examples of his photographic work to an international jury of experts for evaluation.”
The president of the Jury was the dutch photographer Henk van Kooten.
The jury was composed by the Irish portrait photographer Padraic Deasy, the German wedding photographer Yvonne Zemke and me as the Creative Photography expert.
In this occasion the President of BPP, Mr.Michael Belz, made me a great present, the book they prepared for the 2012 edition of PhotoKina with the last series of images selected during the past 5 edition of IPQs.
I’d love to thanks Nadine, Wolfang and all the other great people in BPP.
Hello guys. Here we have TEARS of STEEL the new movie by the Blender Foundation using their Open Source program BLENDER 3D.

I’m proud of this movie first of all because is an Open Source project. Second because it demonstrate how good is the Blender 3D technology that as you can see is production ready.
Least but not last if you wait until the letter E in the final credits, I’m one of the hundreds that produced the movie
Here we have my producer Carla Magrelli working together with Daniele (hidden behind the printer) on my prints for the event hold by the Roman School of Photography.
They have been carefully printing my pics on a shiny Epson 4880.
I really love to see Carla with only one glove At the end of the day we deserved one of the most delicious chocolate plum cake I had in my life.
In the last picture, Carla is holding her own Clownville picture. She was one of the first subjects to pose for the project.
If you want to attend the event here we have the coordinates:

Premio Fotografico is an important photographic prize organized by the Italian Association of Professional Photographers “Tau Visual“. They count more than 2000 members and it is the greatest professional photographer association in Italy.
With great pleasure and surprise a jury made of more than 20 professionals choosed my ” Propaganda ” series of images for the first prize in the art and creative photography section.
And as you can see from the picture today I also received the printed book of the Premio Fotografico prize.
I’d love to thanks Tau Visual and all the jury for the great honor they gave me.
