Here we have my producer Carla Magrelli working together with Daniele (hidden behind the printer) on my prints for the event hold by the Roman School of Photography.
They have been carefully printing my pics on a shiny Epson 4880.
I really love to see Carla with only one glove
At the end of the day we deserved one of the most delicious chocolate plum cake I had in my life.
In the last picture, Carla is holding her own Clownville picture. She was one of the first subjects to pose for the project.

Another image from my Personal Project “Clownville”.
Always dreamed to do an Adolf Hitler portrait. To give my personal view about this little man that killed millions.
My grandfather was a french socialist and was captured by Nazis as a political prisoner. He has been working in several concentration camps before being sent to Auschwitz for his final days.
But he was lucky and survived until the Russians arrived in 1945.
His way back from Poland to home in France took 2 years. He never wanted to talk about those years with anybody.
Thanks to Chicco for letting me transform him in Adolf and to Valeria Orlando for the beautiful makeup.
Special gratitude also to Luca and Tony for supporting me.
The two images selected during the Workshop on the Road event.
The images were shot with the Hasselblad H4D-31 while the light was provided by the Profoto with their awesome ProDaylight system.
The photographer Corrado Murlo was our model, while makeup was performed by Valeria Orlando.
I’d love to thanks also our Project Manager Antonella Catanese and our super assistant Luca Gottardi that helped me so much.
Many thanks also to Andrea Mariani, Mauro Bertola, Roberto Marini, Gianluca Destro, Gianluca Parodi e Stefano Natrella.
A special thanks to ErrecciStudios for hosting the event.
The wonderful event was organized by Hasselblad Italia, Profoto, Grange Srl and APROMA.
The 30th of May we have been invited by Workshop on the Road to give a speech about our Clownville Series.
Here we have a series of backstage pictures of the event. We had about 200 guests that night.
On this first series of images you can see Valeria Orlando making up Corrado, Myself explaining the Clownville series, some of the guests excited to test the Hasselblad camera, myself capturing some portraits of Corrado.
Pictures by Antonella Catanese.
DDmagazine issue May 20012 dedicated a gallery to our Clownville series. On the same number discover the great work of the Australian illustrator Geremy Geddes.
Today I gave a lesson at the European Institute of Design in Rome. The lesson topic was my series Clownville. I helped the students to develop an image with the same look and field. They did a great job
The makeup was always by Valeria Orlando. The astonishing model was my friend and techGuru Massimo Curatella. The images are a collection of Instagram I took during the lesson.
On the top right Valeria Orlando with Massimo and on the center left here I’m with my guest.
We just received the French magazines and they look super cool.
The Clownville series on the cover and inside the magazine.
