Finally has arrived. Thanks to the help of Thierry and Fabrizio from Sabatini distributor I was able to put my hands on my new Canon 5D MKIII.

The Camera looks really good and it plays even better. From the first tests I made, shooting some simple pics, the performance at high iso are really good.

I also love the beautiful 3.2-inch 1,040,000 pixel LCD display and the new magnesium body.

The buttons are also well placed and the ergonomy is good.

Another great improvement is the autofocus. Finally the Mark III focuses VERY fast. I really had major problems with the MK II in this area when was dark or the subject was moving fast.

Installed Cinestyle and it works fine also with the MK III. The videos at 6400 iso looks nothing less than stunning.

I was able to prove that the Rolling shutter issue has been significantly minimized.

I’ll make some more specific tests in the next day. Probably I will also use it for an assignment on Thursday and share some more feelings about it.
