The 22 of July during the Cortona on the Move photo festival I will hold a workshop about Street Photography.
Street photography is, among all photographic disciplines, one of the most complete and useful to develop the ability to shoot in any condition.
Regardless of one’s favorite photographic genre, regardless if for passion or profession, I always recommend to my students and colleagues to embrace street photography as a tool for growth.
One’s photographic technique is strengthened evidently the more you apply yourself in the street photography. You learn about the ambient light in all its forms as well as shooting in mixed natural / artificial light. One also develops the ability to see and interpret situations in a less superficial way.

Today I was invited as an external member of the commission that has been judging the second year of the “Three Years master course” held at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia (Rome School of Photography).
So many students and so many compelling works. For a professional photographer is always a very interesting experience to enter in contact with the students efforts. Its a way to get inspired or to ask yourself questions about your own work. It a way to recharge the passion for photography and to learn different and unexpected perspectives.
Portraiture, Reportage, Still life, Conceptual Photography, Fashion and Personal Works. An incredible mixture of styles and suggestions.
Together with me a panel of personatilies of italian photography such as Riccardo Improta, Riccardo Spila, Massimo Mastrorillo, Irene Alison, Nazario dal Poz, Mario Rullo and Carla Magrelli.

This year I’ve been invited by Tau Visual, the italian association of professional photographers, to meet several Junior photographers and discuss their portfolio at the Senior meet Junior 2013 event.
Hosted by Studio Orizzonte you can have a glimpse of the pleasing evening spent together with photographers and friends discussing about many topics related to photography, post production and portfolio building.
